ABOUT FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH
At Faith Baptist Church, we recognize that Jesus Christ is Lord and Head of this church and seek to understand and follow His will as expressed in the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments. The word of God is our sole authority in matters of faith and practice. We are an elder-led and congregationally affirmed church. Our membership holds to the New Hampshire Confession of Faith (1853). In addition, we strongly affirm the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession of Faith.
We seek to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations through the ordinary means of grace of meaningful covenant membership, expository preaching, regular observance of the Lord's Supper, Baptism, and church discipline.

MISSION
We exist to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, in love, unity and knowledge of God’s Holy word, to care for one another both physically and spiritually and to share the only hope we have, the gospel of Jesus Christ, with our families, our community and the nations to the Glory of God! (Ephesians 4:12-16, Jude 1:20-21, James 5:13-20, Galatians 6:1-2, 1 Peter 3:15, Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8)
COVENANT
Our church covenant serves as an agreement entered into by the membership of Faith Baptist Church, with one another and with God. As covenant members we agree to strive to live by all of the biblical principles set forth in our covenant, thus making membership a very serious and joyful matter at Faith Baptist Church.
Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.
We agree therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this Church, in knowledge, holiness and hope; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to attend its services regularly; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrines according to the Holy Scriptures; to give it a sacred pre-eminence over all institutions of human origin; to give faithfully of time and talent in its activities; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expense of the church, the relief of the poor and the spread of the gospel through all nations for the glory of God.
We also agree to maintain family and private devotions, to train our children according to the Word of God; to seek the salvation of our family and acquaintances; to walk carefully in the world; to be honest in our dealings, faithful in our commitments, honorable in our actions, to avoid all gossip, slander and unrighteous anger; to abstain from all forms of activity which dishonor our Lord Jesus Christ, cause stumbling to a fellow believer or hinder the receiving of the gospel of Christ; to resist any and all forms of sexual immorality that deviate from God’s plan for marriage and sexuality; to be zealous in our efforts to advance the cause of Christ, our Savior; and to give Him preeminence in all things.
We further agree to encourage one another in the blessed hope of our Lord’s return; to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember each other in prayer; to aid each other in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian
sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the commands of our Savior to secure it without delay.
We moreover agree that when we remove from this place, we will as soon as possible unite with some other church of like faith, where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.
